I had a little trip to town with my mother this morning,  popped into the bookshop and there at the back of the shelf was The Vesuvius Club. Genuinely almost died of glee. Seeing as this is the first moment in what feels like decades that both my consistently unreliable internet and livejournal are actually working I'll throw in a quick post.
